ASEAN Rural Development and Poverty Eradication Leadership Award<\/h2>\n\t\t\n<\/div>\n\t\t\t

Rainbow Centre received the ASEAN Rural Development and Poverty Eradication Leadership Award in the \u201cNGOs\/CSOs\u201d category from Singapore at the 14th ASEAN Ministers Meeting on Rural Development and Poverty Eradication in Dec 2025.

The award recognises nongovernmental organisations that have shown excellence in fostering sustainable community development across ASEAN member states.<\/p>\n\t\t\n<\/div>\n\n<\/div>\n

Social Service Professional Awards 2025<\/h2>\n\t\t\n<\/div>\n\t\t\t

The Rainbow Centre-Institute of Mental Health Integrated Social Health Case Management Pilot (ISH) team won the Team Award at the inaugural Social Service Professional Awards for its cross-agency efforts to deliver coordinated, client-centric care for individuals with disabilities and complex needs.

Today, RC continues the ISH pilot\u2019s work through the Disability Case Management Programme (DCMP).<\/p>\n\t\t\n<\/div>\n\n<\/div>\n

Opening of a new EI Centre at Marsiling Lane<\/h2>\n\t\t\n<\/div>\n\t\t\t

A significant milestone this year was the opening of Rainbow Centre\u2019s new Early Intervention Programme centre at Marsiling Lane (EMars). EMars is expected to serve up to 171 children when fully operational.

The new centre strengthens access to timely intervention for children with developmental needs and brings support closer to families in the community.<\/p>\n\t\t\n<\/div>\n\n<\/div>\n

MOE\u2013SG Enable Innovation Award 2025<\/h2>\n\t\t\n<\/div>\n\t\t\t

Our Hear My Voice team was awarded the MOE\u2013SG Enable Innovation Award 2025 for transforming Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) service delivery across RC\u2019s SPED schools, pioneering a standardised and scalable approach that gives students faster access to communication tools while building teacher competency.

A journal paper<\/u><\/a> based on the effort was also published.<\/p>\n\t\t\n<\/div>\n\n<\/div>\n

This community arts project supported by National Youth Council, involved more than 20 students who partnered Superhero Me artists to create artworks while sharing their hopes and visions for the future as part of the SG Youth Plan.

The project was exhibited at Jurong Regional Library and Waterway Point, along with six outreach sessions at mainstream schools.<\/p>\n\t\t\n<\/div>\n\n<\/div>\n

A Good Morning with RC: Connected Communities Fair<\/h2>\n\t\t\n<\/div>\n\t\t\t

As part of World Autism Awareness Month, Rainbow Centre welcomed 177 visitors to its community open house. A key focus of the event was strengthening awareness of post-18 pathways.

Advancing Inclusive Design for Changi Airport Terminal 5<\/h2>\n\t\t\t\t\t

Rainbow Centre students from three SPED schools participated in a series of focus group discussions with The Afternaut Group to support inclusive design efforts for the upcoming Changi Airport Terminal 5 development.
